A STRONGER SKIN BARRIER - REDUCING TRANSEPIDERMAL WATER LOSS
A strong skin barrier is incredibly important to having healthy skin. We put Pure Sensitive Care Complex to the test to find out just how much our whole botanical ingredients improve the barrier.
Our natural facial cream was applied to the skin once. At 1 hour after application the level of transepidermal water loss (TEWL) was reduced by 13.5%. We tested again at 8 hours and at that time our study group showed 16.5% less TEWL.
Results from this test indicate that Blissoma's Pure moisturizer strengthens the skin barrier quickly and that the results can actually increase over time.
REDNESS REDUCTION OVER 28 DAYS
For years our customers have told us that Pure Sensitive Care Complex does wonders for their skin's redness. It was easy to decide that measuring redness reduction was one of the tests we wanted to perform.
Participants were given a holistic skincare routine of 2 products. They used Free Rejuvenating Herbal Gel Cleanser and Pure Sensitive Care Complex in the morning and evening for 28 days. Redness levels were recorded before starting the skincare routine and at 28 days.
At 28 days our study group using our plant-based skincare had experienced a 54% redness reduction. This is especially striking since our test was conducted in the coldest, driest month of the year in Canada.

COMPARING BLISSOMA'S TEWL TEST RESULTS TO POPULAR SYNTHETIC SKINCARE
