Primeval has been designed to offer fantastic slip on skin while offering an array of benefits to all skin types.  It is particularly helpful to nourish skin types that suffer from chronic inflammation, and the oil base makes it ultra soothing to apply.

We spend 1 month infusing raw, Organic Sesame Oil with Organic Blue Vervain, Organic Comfrey Leaf, and Organic Passionflower at room temperature.  These herbs combine to offer cooling, calming properties to skin that may be irritated.  The time we take to make the infusion is worth it to get the best of the phytonutrients out of the herbs and into the oil.

Schisandra Berry Co2 extract helps you provide exceptional support to skin.  Schisandra is an antioxidant rich adaptogen, and supports the vital appearance of skin during times of stress.  It has also been shown to have anti-wrinkle properties, making it doubly useful for protecting the youthful quality of skin.  This oil is an excellent recipe to use on irritated or damaged skin surfaces.  Oils will not sting abraded or raw skin.  Instead they soothe and provide an extra protective lipid layer.  

The base is a blend of nourishing, nut-free oils to suit reactive skin types.  Organic Camellia and Organic Sacha Inchi Oils offer additional natural antioxidant content, and Organic Sunflower brings generous quantities of nourishing Vitamin E.  Organic Baobab oil conditions the skin to leave it supple post-treatment.

The essential oil blend completes the regenerative and sensual qualities of this delightful recipe.  Myrrh dominates the aroma, blended with a touch of sweet Ylang, Patchouli and Ginger and the equally ancient aroma of Frankincense.  Myrrh has properties that support the health of the skin microbiome.  Frankincense increases that benefit and works synergistically with the myrrh to reduce the appearance of inflammation.  The total scent will be a pleasure for your clients to experience during their massage and deeply rejuvenating nourishment for chronic skin issues.  When tested on a group of women during development our test subjects were instantly attracted to the deep, subtle, sensuous aroma.

Use this lovely oil blend for your massage portion of the facial.  Our only contraindication would be that myrrh is sometimes not recommended for use on pregnant women, so please use your judgment in this situation.  It should provide a full 10 minutes of facial lubrication without reapplication.
