Lavender - Bulgarian Super Essential Oil

$22.23 - $43.70

Description

Lavandula angustifolia - origin Bulgaria, flowering tops, steam distilled

Lavender is one of the most recognizable aromas to most people, and one of the most universally valuable therapeutic essential oils.  It conjures images of European countryside, cottages, clean air, and a simpler, more relaxed life.

Much of of the lavender oil available in the general market may be a standardized blend known as 40/42.  This high altitude grown Bulgarian Super oil puts those to shame with abundant floral esters and a glorious, full aroma.  It GC/MS tests out at having about 41% linalyl acetate and 32% linalool making it an excellent therapeutic oil.  These two compounds produce a physiological relaxing effect.  There can be up to 100 other aromatic compounds in lavender oil as well.  The complexity of a natural oil outshines synthetic mimics, which seem one dimensional by comparison.

Lavender is excellent for diffusion, perfumery, and skin application.  The essential oil can also be used as a food flavoring when diluted properly in an appropriately oily or alcoholic base.  Lavender cookies and cooling summer cocktails come to mind.

You can use Lavender for nearly everything, and we highly suggest this beautiful oil for your collection.

Lavender essential oil is nontoxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitizing.

Please see the "Ingredients" tab for the GC/MS test results for this essential oil.

Blending: This oil is considered a top note.  Lavender blends well with citrus and floral oils, as well as more camphorous oils like Rosemary and Cedarwood.  It is beautiful with Clary Sage, Peppermint, Spearmint, Geranium, Labdanum, Vetiver, Patchouli, and many other oils.

Aromatherapy uses: Depression, stress, nervous tension, headaches and migraines, insomnia, nausea, muscle pain and soreness, rheumatism, inhalation for difficulty breathing and congestion, and skin problems like acne, burns, dandruff, eczema, inflammations, insect bites, sunburn, wounds and nearly any skin irritation

All essential oils bottled by Blissoma come from trusted suppliers that we have worked with for years now for production of our own product line.  We are now offering these oils to our retail and professional clients because of their exceptional qualities.  Every oil is 100% pure and natural with no adulteration or alterations.

Due to oils being lighter than water 9 g is 10 ml volume (.3 oz).  25 g is about 28 ml volume (1 oz).  We are selling by weight because it is more exact.
